Tomorrow never knows was the first song that was recorded for the revolver album. The lyrics are by john Lennon who attempted to describe the effects of LSD both lyrically and musically. Timothy Leary had himself spent seven months studying Buddhism in the Himalayas , and was known for his use of LSD. The Tibetan book of the dead is itself more about the death of ones ego as opposed to a person dying per se.
