Beatles Album: A Hard Day’s Night: Track 2

    Year: 1964

    Lyrics: Lennon and McCartney

    Length: 2.42

The lyrics to the Beatles I should have known better came from John; this is quite surprising as the song is very optimistic in nature. Apart from the title sequences, it was the first song that was played in the film proper in a scene on the train in which the Beatles are playing cards.

I should have known better starts with a harmonica introduction by John, who then goes on to do lead vocals; which are double tracked.
