Beatles Album: Let It be : Track 11

    Year: 1970

    Lyrics: Harrison

    Length: 2.33

The lyrics of for you blue are by George Harrison. He wrote the song as a standard blues song and originally titles the song for you blues. As with the later Beatles song Something, which appeared on Abbey road album, the song is written about his love for Pattie.

Although this is a blues song written by George Harrison it is John Lennon who gets to have the fun of playing the steel guitar on the recording of for you blue.
