Beatles Album: Yellow Submarine : Track 4

    Year: 1969

    Lyrics: Lennon, McCartney

    Length: 3.09

The Beatles song Hey Bulldog was John Lennon's contribution to the yellow Submarine project. While recording the promo video for Lady Madonna the Beatles were filmed in the studio; it is at this time that they played Hey Bulldog for the first time; with all the other Beatles adding lines and sounds to John's original Hey Bulldog lyrics.

The song originally mentioned a bullfrog as opposed to a bulldog, but as Paul McCartney was barking like a dog while they were jamming they changed the songs title to Hey Bulldog.
